The appointment menu (right-click or press and hold)
Diese Anleitung ist auf Englisch.
A quick menu on every appointment in the day and week view of the calendar, without opening the appointment first. With Check out, Open client record, Contact client (call, text or WhatsApp), Confirm, Add a note, Deposit received, Appointment activity, Rebook, Add form, Reschedule, Copy to another time, Add a treatment, No-show and Cancel. On a computer it opens with the right mouse button, on a phone or tablet by pressing and holding the appointment for a moment and letting go.

So funktioniert es
- Computer: right-click an appointment in the calendar; the menu opens where your mouse is, with the client and the time at the top.
- Phone or tablet: hold the appointment still.
- After a light tap it comes loose and you can drag it; keep holding a moment longer and you feel a second tap and the appointment lights up: the menu is ready.
- Then let go without sliding.
- A sheet slides up: at the top the client with the time and the treatment (tap it for the full appointment), below that all actions as a list; No-show and Cancel are in red in their own block at the bottom.
- Holding and then sliding moves the appointment, as always; a normal tap opens the appointment.
- Check out opens the checkout straight away.
- Rebook opens the calendar on the day the client is due back, Copy to another time on the day of the appointment itself, both with the client, the treatment and the team member already filled in; you then choose the time.
- The other choices open the appointment with that action already started, exactly as under the three dots (More actions) in the appointment.
- Confirm only shows on an appointment that is Pending; a request shows Approve and Decline.
Gut zu wissen
- Teammitglieder brauchen die Berechtigung „Calendar“. Die Inhaberin oder der Inhaber legt das unter Settings → Team → Roles and permissions fest (die App ist auf Englisch).
Wenn etwas nicht klappt
On my phone the appointment moves when I hold it, instead of the menu opening.
The menu only comes when you let go without sliding after the second tap. Keep your finger still until the appointment lights up and then lift it straight up. If you slide even a few millimetres, that is dragging; if you let go on the same spot, nothing happens to the appointment.
I don't feel a tap on my iPhone.
An iPhone only lets a website vibrate to a limited extent. From iOS 18 it usually works; if not, look at the appointment: it lights up with a border as soon as the menu is ready. Letting go then opens it just the same. Vibration also needs to be on under Settings, Sounds & Haptics, System Haptics.
Reschedule and Cancel are missing on a completed or cancelled appointment.
That's right: an appointment that is completed, cancelled or a no-show no longer changes. If the client wants to come again, choose Rebook or Copy to another time. If a completed appointment hasn't been paid yet, Check out is still there.
Contact client is missing.
That only works when there is a phone number on the client record. Open the client record (Open client record in the same menu) and add the number.
