Quick payment (charge without an appointment)
Charge an amount without making an appointment first. For a product at the front desk, a separate tip, or a client who walks in without an appointment. You get a normal sale with an invoice, and the amount counts in the day closing, the reports and the VAT.
Where to find it
How it works
- Calendar, Add, Quick payment.
- Enter the amount (including VAT), optionally a description and the VAT rate.
- Pick a client with Choose a client or leave it on No client (walk-in).
- Choose the payment method and tap Charge.
- You then see the sale with the receipt; if the client has an email address, she gets the invoice.
- Refund and Void sale work on that screen, like any sale.
Good to know
- Team members need the permission “Checkout”. The owner sets this under Settings → Team → Roles and permissions.
If something doesn't work
My payment method isn't listed.
You see the payment methods turned on in Settings, Payment methods. Gift card and Charge to room don't work here: they belong to checking out an appointment. The card reader and the QR code aren't started from here; choose Card machine if the client already paid on your own device.
I charged the wrong amount.
Open the sale (Invoices, or right after charging) and refund the difference with Refund. A received payment can't be deleted; that keeps the till correct.

- Paying with a QR code at the counterThe client scans a QR code with their own phone and pays online, with your own payment provider (Stripe or Sentoo). It can also be shown on your own phone.

Which one depends on the country: Stripe in most countries, Sentoo on Aruba, Curaçao, Bonaire and Sint Maarten, PayTabs in the Gulf states, Egypt and Morocco, Paystack in four African countries, Mopé in Suriname.
- Deposit for online bookingsA client pays part or all of the amount when booking online. Set per treatment: none, a percentage or a fixed amount. The money goes straight to your own account, not through NOZAIA.

Still stuck?
In NOZAIA, open Support at the bottom of the sidebar (on your phone: in the menu under your name). It knows which screen you're on, and if it can't help, your question goes to our team.
