Local rate for island residents

A service can have two prices: the regular price for visitors and a lower local rate for island residents, for example Soft Glam AWG 130 for locals and USD 155 for tourists. The local rate is never shown publicly: not on your booking page and not in the widget. At checkout you choose Visitor or Local, and NOZAIA remembers on the client record who is local; next time the local rate is ready straight away.

Where to find it

Where to find itThis isn't a screen of its own in NOZAIA.

How it works

  1. Settings → Sales → Services → the service: below the price + Add a local rate, and enter the amount.
  2. The regular price is the visitor price.
  3. If you don't want to show a price on your booking page, choose Variable as the price type with your own line, for example Rate depends on residency.
  4. At Checkout, above the lines, there's Rate with Visitor and Local; one tap sets the price of every service with a local rate.
  5. On the client record there's the Local rate switch.
  6. A fixed deposit is the same for both; a percentage deposit uses the visitor price.

If something doesn't work

I don't see the Visitor and Local switch at checkout.

The switch only appears when a service in the sale has a local rate. Enter it under Settings → Sales → Services → the service, below the price.
