Academy: paying in instalments
Students pay for a course in monthly instalments instead of all at once, like with Plug&Pay. They pay the first instalment when enrolling online; the rest goes automatically.
Where to find it
Where to find itSettings → Academy → Courses
How it works
- Academy, open a course.
- Under Pay in instalments choose the number of instalments (2 to 12, or Off) and optionally an instalment surcharge (total), then tap Save.
- On the course page on your website, the student then chooses Pay in full or Pay in instalments.
- With Stripe her card is saved and NOZAIA charges the next instalments each month automatically; she gets an email each time.
- If charging fails, or you use Sentoo, she gets a payment link by email and a reminder after five days, and you get a notification.
- Under Students you see per student how many instalments are paid and what the next one is, with Copy payment link and Paid at the salon (if she paid cash or by card).
- Open instalments are shown at the top.
Good to know
- Team members need the permission “Academy”. The owner sets this under Settings → Team → Roles and permissions.
- Whether this is included depends on your plan. See plans
If something doesn't work
My website doesn't show the Pay in instalments option for the course.
Instalments only work once you have connected online payments (Stripe or Sentoo) and the course has a price. Check that Pay in instalments is set to 2 or more on the course and tap Save. The option shows for every date of that course.

- Courses and datesWhat you offer, and when. You create a course once and add the dates separately. A course you teach four times a year is one course with four dates, not the same course four times.
- Academy: selling coursesYour own courses, masterclasses and trainings alongside your treatments. A course has dates with a number of places, sometimes several teaching days, and students you mark off and give a certificate. Included in Pro and Studio; on Start you add it separately as the Academy add-on.
- Students and enrolmentsWho is on which date, what they pay and how it stands. A student is simply a client of your business: their courses sit alongside their appointments, so you never enter anyone twice.
- Marking attendanceMark who was there, per teaching day. Present, late, absent or excused. Nothing tapped means not marked yet, which is different from absent.

In NOZAIA, open Support at the bottom of the sidebar (on your phone: in the menu under your name). It knows which screen you're on, and if it can't help, your question goes to our team.
